What Will Be the Most Popular NFL Team for Kentucky Bettors to Wager On?

NFL season is right around the corner, which means all 32 teams will have their sights set on reaching Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas. That also means bettors in the Bluegrass State will be able to take advantage of the various Kentucky sportsbook promos available on Sept. 28 when online sports betting launches.

Those bettors using Kentucky sports betting apps, however, will not be able to bet on any in-state NFL teams. The state has not had an NFL team since the Louisville Colonels in 1926 — but that doesn’t mean Bluegrass State residents won’t be taking in all 17 weeks of action.

Bettors in the state often root for the nearby Cincinnati Bengals, the closest team in proximity to Kentucky. Bettors are one short drive away from finding themselves in Ohio, and it doesn’t hurt that Ohio sports betting apps are also live right now accepting bets on Joe Burrow and the AFC-contending Bengals.

You’ll need to cross the border in order to use Ohio sportsbook promos, but they’re every bit as good as the ones you’ll find in late September in the Bluegrass State. You can even click on one of the offers listed below and sign up before heading to Ohio. Whether you’re interested in betting on the Bengals to win the AFC North or the Super Bowl, or maybe you think Burrow is the next quarterback to earn their first MVP, you’ll have those options in either state.

Other NFL Teams Have Kentucky Fan Base, Too

Of course, not everyone will root for the Bengals, but there are plenty of other nearby options for Kentucky residents. Indianapolis and Nashville are close enough to drive, meaning depending on where in the state you live, the Colts or Titans make sense for your fandom. The good times keep coming if you’re fans of those teams, as both Indiana and Tennessee also offer online sports betting.

Individual teams are great, but the best online sportsbooks will offer hundreds of different betting options on all 32 teams each week. That includes odds boosts, parlay insurance and a number of different NFL betting promos and bonuses.

Don’t forget to use the sportsbook promo codes attached to each of the operators you’re interested in playing with. These codes unlock welcome bonuses that enhance the sports betting experience and increase potential payouts — all at no additional cost to you.

Bettors must use the codes during registration on these NFL betting apps as they can’t go back later and add it after the fact. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to start betting on your favorite NFL team, whether that’s the Bengals, Colts, Titans or anyone else.
