Republicans want massive cuts to Medicaid. What do you want? Tell us. | Opinion
You are likely seeing a good deal of news coverage over possible Medicaid funding cuts that could leave millions without care. It's time for you to have your say.
Republicans seem intent on cutting Medicaid funding in some way. The details, depth and entitlement program affected may still change, but it seems clear that cuts are coming to a program more than 70 million Americans rely on.
The U.S. Senate is considering a plan passed by the House that would cut billions in Medicaid funding, potentially leaving millions of people without health care. The impact of those cuts would ripple throughout the country, regardless of political beliefs and whom you voted for.
The news media has been scrambling to cover this massive Republican bill, and our USA TODAY columnists have written a good deal about the cuts and overall budget concerns.
Now, though, we want to ask you about Medicaid and the proposed cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This is an opportunity for you to tell us about what you are seeing in your part of the country and what the news coverage might be getting wrong.
Do you agree with proposed Medicaid cuts? Tell us.
